LOTW- Election Coordinator Guidelines Ratified

Resolution #16

LOTW voted to ratify the Election Coordinator Guidelines as constitutional for the club. The administrative purpose of this is that any future Parliament Leader would have to run a Resolution to annul the Guidelines before making any changes or scrapping it completely.

The Motion passed by 16 votes in favour versus 2 against, with 2 abstentions. 20 voters as a percentage of our total members (90 registered) is 22.22%.

This is only slightly lower than the 23.17% (19 of 82) turn out for the last voted Resolution, Resolution 13 of December 2008.

I think it's possible that vote attendance will be increased in Resolutions of more immediate interest to the membership at large, and that 22% is not a bad turn-out for a Resolution of this nature.

The administration will continue to study voting patterns across the club to better target announcements and increase awareness of the democratic process at the heart of our progress.
