Daniel Taylor Promoted to Major

All right folks, three months ago as I'm sure you all know Military Command was extremely concerned with the status of SGU-3. As a result of that concern we placed the whole team on review and told Daniel, who volunteered for the opportunity to get the team back into ship shape, that he had three months to do just that.

The conditions was that for at least one month out of three he had to move SGU-3 out of the Sim Review area for the Sim Strength Rankings (SSRs) and impress his Commander of the Area (CoA) Chris with the strength of the team.

Not only did Daniel succeed, he exceeded our expectations as he managed to get SGU-3 in the healthy range for the SSRs for all three months. In light of this tremendous and wonderful change, Military Command unanimously agrees that SGU-3 is off the review status and will stay open!

Congratulations to the whole team for their hard work in keeping the torch alive.

That's not all folks though. In honor of his dedication, his willingness to step forward and take that torch for SGU-3 Military Command would like to first give Daniel Taylor our appreciation and our admiration. I'm not sure about the other three members, but I personally feared the worst. I am extremely happy and excited that the worst didn't come to pass in this instance and wish to express my gratitude personally.

My personal gratitude isn't the only thing we wish to bestow upon Daniel for his hard work. The first is his elevation to a full Team Leader status within in SGU, making him a permanent leader for this team.

Lastly, after deliberating between each other, Military Command has opted to make an exception to the rule here in regards to promotions. In reality there have only been two special kinds of promotions that have had someone leap frog the rank system. Both individuals were able to do so due to their hard work and dedication to the sim they are assigned to.

Military Command feels that Daniel has shown the same kind of dedication that fits the bill. As such, it is our distinct pleasure and honor to promote Daniel Taylor to the rank of Major with all the rights and privileges that are afforded to the rank effective immediately.

Congratulations Daniel and to SGU-3, it is very well deserved!
